Planning and running freight across road, rail, sea and air, from collection through to final delivery, for a forwarder in Sunbury-on-Thames.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating domestic and international moves across road, sea, rail and air
  • Booking transport and tracking shipments, keeping customers updated on delays and exceptions
  • Working with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, warehouses and customs brokers
  • Preparing and checking documents: bills of lading, air waybills, invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork
  • Sorting out problems: delays, damage, shortages and customs queries
  • Helping with quotations and costings when needed
